Conrad Robert Murray is a Grenadian-born American former physician who was convicted for his role in the death of American singer and dancer Michael Jackson. He was the personal doctor of Jackson on the day of the singer's death in 2009. In 2011, during People v. Murray, Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in Jackson's death for having inadvertently overdosed him with the surgical anesthetic propofol, which was being improperly used as a bedtime sleep agent.
